About a third of Birdie's orders in any given month are corporate — office meetings, client appreciation events, retirement parties, training sessions, holiday gifts. Here is what to know if you are planning a recurring or one-time dessert order for a Fort Wayne metro company.

Order minimums and lead time

For corporate dessert catering, our minimum is 25 servings — roughly 3 pies, 2 dozen mini tarts, or an equivalent mix. Smaller orders (a single pie or a dozen cookies for a small team meeting) we accept as standard pickup orders, no minimum. Lead time is 7–10 days for any order over 50 servings; standard 48 hours for smaller orders.

For recurring orders (a monthly client lunch, a weekly team meeting), we set up a standing order at the rate of your committed cadence and send an invoice at the end of each month. Standing orders get priority during high-demand weeks.

What travels well to a Fort Wayne office

  • Whole pies (sliced and ready to serve) — easiest to set out on a buffet, scales well to any guest count.
  • Mini tarts and hand pies — finger-food friendly; hold up at room temperature for 4–6 hours.
  • Cookie platters — the most popular corporate option; portion-controlled and individually wrapped if needed.

For corporate orders, we recommend designating one person to pick up — typically an office manager or admin — between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM the day of the event. The drive from our kitchen to downtown Fort Wayne is 25 minutes; to Allen County offices closer to Columbia City, 10–15 minutes.

Invoicing and payment

Corporate orders can be paid by Stripe at order time (most common) or via invoice with net-15 terms for established standing-order clients. We provide W-9 forms on request for vendor onboarding.
