Toasted pecan halves are folded into a rich filling of brown sugar, butter, eggs, and pure vanilla, then baked in a flaky all-butter crust until the center is just set. A 9-inch pie serves 8 to 10 and needs 48 hours notice. A Thanksgiving favorite across northeast Indiana.
